Euphoric Moments

man, am i impulsive. after sending my car for its' virgin bath, i decided to cut my hair because i haven't had the time to maintain my curls well and it was just dull, boring and completely unkempt. i hurried home, dragged my sister along and we went hunting for a salon that opens on sunday. we drove from an area to another and finally found one. it looks dodgy and completely unattractive but i was desperate! i could've driven to iskii's usual place in uptown but that's just too long a drive and I NEEDED A HAIRCUT IMMEDIATELY! yes, i'm being unreasonable even to myself.

as we stood at its entrance, a lady greeted us in chinese. "hai?" she greeted me in cantonese. "die!" i thought to myself, "what exactly am i bringing myself into". "mMmm.. erMm... . .ngo.. ngo .. oi chin tau fatt" i struggled in cantonese, which meant "i wanna cut my hair". "ching chong ching ching chong," she replied. "HAH?! uhm, i wanna cut hair?" i answered her back, hoping she understood. she looked at me weirdly and continued speaking in cantonese. i have no absolute idea what she was saying but i just kept nodding. someone senior walked over to my chair, and continued speaking in cantonese. i tried understanding and figuring out what were they saying. i replied in english whatever i thought i understood. seriously, it was like chicken and duck speaking to one another. then came another lady, speaking in mandarin. can die. i seriously had no idea what they were saying or doing so i just let them do whatever they want. they even colored my hair... and this .. is how, i freaking look like, after the disastrous visit (together with a before photo, taken a couple of weekends ago).

i think i looked better previously but oh well, at least this is easier to take care. LOL! anyway, what's done is done so i shall move on. i can imagine the horror on my colleague's face tomorrow. LOL! and i have a shoot at 8am. i bet they'd be freaked out cause the color is too yellow for my liking. IT'S YELLOW. like .. ew? i'd rather pick pink anytime. too late. moving on, i gave isky four gerbils last week. they seem to be really happy living with him. i'm proud of him. he makes a good master. i think my other gerbil's pregnant. my god, THEY'VE GOTTA STOP BREEDING! it's driving me nuts. LOL. ok, i'm rambling. good nite. just cooked estofado, roasted potatoes with butter & herbs, and there's sambal sotong from my mom & mixed vege from my sis. yums! *toast to a good dinner*
