29 months together & loving it!

(/edited) @ 2:30pm; 02.03.08
heh. that's funny. it's amazing what some people are capable of doing and saying but please, by all means, go ahead. i couldn't care less. if it makes you happy to put others down, help yourself. what isn't true, won't hurt anyways. i just think you're an incredibly delusional person and it just puts a smile on me whenever you try so hard to make people believe your stories. bravo! we all know the real you, so we don't care! i'm actually a very VERY forgiving person but somehow, i doubt it's ever reconcilable for us. i wonder why, really.

on a happier side, i think i lost a kilo! haha, after an 'almost sugar-free' diet for the past a week and a half, i guess it paid off. slow, but as long as i'm losing something, i'm pleased. i should really cut down on the good food i've been having. it's not HELPING!

i've ALWAYS been a fan of borneo rainforest but if i was a first timer yesterday, i would've definitely banned the place. firstly, a waiter sat me on a table for five. as i plunged my ass on the seat, this rude lady who looks like she's (okay, nvm, i'll save the info to myself)... asked me how many person was i expecting. "four, including me," i answered, quite shocked by her rudeness. "could you please move to the next table. this table is for five!" she said, with no smile on her face, or probably because she couldn't (i'll save the info once again). for the whole two hours i was there, she had not SMILED at a single table! my god. and then our drinks got mixed up because the waiter didn't state our table number on the list. how clever, i'd say. that took plus/minus, thirty minutes. and then, our food took an hour to come, except for ken jun's. an hour and fifteen minutes later, still nothing. ken jun then walked to the respective stall and asked for his food. another ten minutes later, it came alright, but it was FREAKING burnt! like it was done on purpose or something. after we've all agreed on how bitter it was (due to the burnt bits, which was half?), we sent the food back. and ms. rude-y was rolling her eyes at the chef. so another ten minutes later, the food arrived. ken jun was really upset with this whole thingy and i think it was definitely a very bad impression for first timers. i tried comforting ken jun & wern ching that the service were usually great (and i'm a huge supporter of carol, the co-owner of that place). however, i doubt they'll ever return if the service were to remain that horrible. maybe i should make my complaint heard and complain straight to carol, we'll see. however, just as long as ms. rude-y isn't there, i'm sure the evening would've been a better pleasure. isky suggested that they probably shouldn't be doing table service at such a huge place with hidden tables & seats, and probably train some of their waiters properly because we had to keep repeating orders. huge let down, but i'll return (not so soon though), to show support to carol & sis.

bak 'good' teh @ centrepoint. i actually doubt the quality of the food when i first stepped into this place but the moment the food came, i fell in love at first taste! i would highly recommend this place to ANYONE who is able to eat pork because even if you don't like bak kut teh, this place will definitely change your mind about it! bonus: this place is squeaky clean & parking is free for the first hour.

an amazing chinese new year dinner @ ruai, borneo rainforest (complete opposite from my night there yesterday). no photos from the official launch because i was there for less than five minutes. i'm no longer a fan of crowded places, i guess.

i LOVE vegetarian food, but unfortunately, i dunno any who loves it as much as i do. *yums*

and i'm still waiting for my car. thanks to the recently launched facelifted version, i've gotta wait a maximum of one month because of a particular color that i want. anyone wants a ride? i'm paying a bomb for it, but i guess, as long as i'm happy, it's good. i mean, i should splurge on something i really like rather than, you know, settling for something that i don't have a 'chemistry' for.

i would also like to have a new dslr, a new lap top, a new mobile (see previous entry), a new wardrobe & a new .. body? HAHAHA. that's going to take years & a whole lot of effort & discipline. as for the rest, i can only afford if there's a huge increment coming. i FREAKING doubt it. anyways, i'm looking forward to a tremendous change this year. let's all hope it's for the better. *cheers to life & whatever that the future holds*
