i couldn't sleep despite being tired thanks to the drama that happened at my condo more than an hour ago. this place, once filled with expatriates are now being replaced by foreign students. not just any foreign students but very barbaric hooligans. i shall not state their originality but let's just say they've been making the news in the media for the past couple of months, for, the wrong reasons, of course. they would gather in huge groups and yak LOUDLY, throw stuffs & glasses all over, sing and dance, rev their cars at ungodly hours, like an hour ago (which was 2:30am). three police cars came and they all ran like chickens who were about to get slaughtered. the policemen were here for about half an hour, took statements from residents who wanted to complain (and boy, were there a lot). right after the police left, they all gathered again and made more noise. I REALLY CANNOT IMAGINE BEING IN THEIR COUNTRY if a handful of them are already that rowdy. i don't mean to discriminate, really, but i'm judging from what i've seen over the years, in college and now, my housing area, so don't get me wrong.

anyway, to kill time, i recalled reading in bazaar about jane birkin. she sang a french song with her then lover, serge gainsbourg which caused such a huge controversial back in the late 1960s. out of curiosity, i listened to je t'aime moi non plus and my, it can actually turn you on. LOL. according to wikipedia, "the lyrics were written as an imaginary dialogue between two lovers during a sexual encounter. phrases from the song included:

* "Je vais et je viens, entre tes reins" ("I come and I go, in between your hips" - literally: "Entre tes reins"; reins means kidneys or lower back in French)
* "Tu es la vague, moi l'île nue" ("You are the wave, I am the naked island")
* "L'amour physique est sans issue" ("Physical love is a dead end street")."

part of the translated lyrics translates to these:

my GAWD! it has been such a super retarded week for me, alright. working on telco jobs can really take the sanity out of you. i swear each & every strand of my hair turns white whenever i hear the word, *insert telco brand*. let me say, it has the biggest advertising budget i can ever think of, especially among telcos, so i don't think i'll need to mention any brand/names here. go figure.

even as i type this, i'm actually checking my company mails to make sure that i'm not missing anything and i'm constantly updated. i've been harassing my stylists and casting houses to make sure everything's good & prepared. i can be VERY persistent when it comes to getting things done so i guess they're probably fed up already. i've been really easily agitated lately and i think i've chided so many assistants, stylists and as well as casting houses just to make sure things are done accordingly. i feel bad whenever i question them but i seriously do not want to risk having things fucked up. i've probably pissed so many people off in the past couple of weeks but it has been really crazy, i swear. everyone's tired upset, annoyed, and stressed up but that's how the industry works. i'm juggling so many things at the moment and i'm impressed that i haven't really completely lose it yet. my life freaking revolves around my work now as i watch my shopping vouchers expire one by one. but you know what? I ACTUALLY LIKE IT!

it's insane but i like the 'adrenaline rush' i get from it. i hope nobody from the office reads this or they'll probably throw more jobs at me but i seriously do. i know it's retarded to like being stressed out, but it makes me feel .. useful. and on the bright side, i'm working hard to get my brand new car before chinese new year. i'm actually torn between a few cars but let's hope after the test drive tomorrow, i should be able to decide. i also hope to get the number plate i want, even though it'll cost slightly more money. let's hope everything goes smoothly and i can't wait for my chinese new year break.

oh, have i mentioned how some stupid mongoloid kid has sprayed six of my colleagues & my car? we made an unofficial police report and the police, who by the way, didn't seem like he was interested in speaking to us, just said, "apa yang korang nak kami buat?" which translates to "what do you expect us to do?" in english. WHAT DO WE EXPECT YOU TO DO?! what sort of a question is that. i mean our cars have had our windscreens smashed, rims & tyres stolen, sides badly scratched, my side panel (bumper) got stolen, AND NOW SOME RANDOM PURPLE & PINK GRAFFITIS ON IT, i think you guys ought to FREAKING BEEF UP YOUR SECURITY and what nots right. anyways, newcarnewhousenewcarnewhousenewcarnewhouse.
