at 11:48am just now, my car salesman called. “your car is here, miss,” he said, with what sounded like a smile. “OMG?! so early?!” i squealed, with delight. he laughed. i dashed down and there it was, parked right in front of my office, gleaming with pride in bright blue. i stood right in front of it, not knowing what to do. the salesman told me to take a look and check for scratches. i was like, “uh, ok. how?”. LOL! DUH! what sort of a question is that? anyway, to cut long story short, my car is here. my new baby! *slurps*
and my gerbil gave birth to five more babies yesterday. aahhh.. how blissful.

omg, i never knew watching malaysian dreamgirl could be so addictive. it’s nothing much to shout about except it’s almost close to an antm ripoff. but what makes it interesting is someone i know is in that show, and to support her, i watch it. my ex classmate, ringo is in it! go check it out, cause i got addicted!

ichiban ramen. unfortunately, i guess the amount of crowd (or lack of) proves that the place is not worth a second visit. i got a bad tummy upset after eating isky’s weird ramen.

pan mee!!! i’ve suddenly converted myself into a pan mee fan. just make sure it’s spicy, thin and dry, cause the soupy fat ones reminds me of my mom’s. and i don’t really like soupy stuffs unless i’m sick. so soup reminds me of my sick days. except for bak kut teh! another one of my faves. man, i love being chinese.

i was NEVER, never, a fan of char siews until i got introduced to choon yien’s earlier this year. it was excellent shit! it was, the BOMB. char siew that melts in your mouth with sugar oozing out of every bite, my god, i could just pee in my pants thinking about it. unfortunately, you’ve gotta call to book for the strips of meat, roast chicken and EVEN the soups before 11:30am to secure some for yourselves. and, also, it would really be a much pleasant visit if the guy in charge of the stall isn’t so rude. but oh well, we’ve gotta sacrifice a little to get the best, at times, eh?

i was just speaking to ronnietheperempuan (omg, how long has it been since i last spoke to him?!) about going on holidays, and i’ve just realised, i haven’t gone anywhere yet since the last time i spoke about it. my company was suppose to have a company trip to hong kong but nothing materialised out of it, so, we aren’t going anymore. i need a good holiday away from the city. to relax by the beach perhaps. and to tan myself till i burn my skin silly. and to drown my feet in salty water till it gets crumpled. unfortunately, there aren’t many people i know who are up for excitement and thrills. of not knowing where to head to and where to go. i would really like to try backpacking, or travelling to a place where not many know much. i guess i’ve gotta hang out more often and search for people who are more adventurous. even my bf, is not up for it. could it be because he gets way too pampered during his family holidays? i wouldn’t know.

madam lim’s serves the best halal chinese food ever, at a super reasonable price. you can find me there more often now, cause, i just love chinese food and it being halal is a bonus, because my bii can eat there too, without having any worries. if only i can talk him into going for vegetarian dinner with me. WHY DON’T PEOPLE LIKE VEGETARIAN FOOD? *ponders*

us @ laundry with the adorable intan to support ikram’s performance. not bad, i’d say but blues just isn’t really for me. i’ll be heading to wabisabi next week. see ya there!

anyways, it’s back to sunday again. i guess this blog gets updated only on sundays, cause it’s the only day (if i’m lucky) to be spending it at home. i miss the freedom i used to have. working life is really taking its toll on me. but i guess, this is what you get for living carefree days back in the past. i don’t wanna grow up!
p/s: i’m going crazzzzyyy over brandi carlile. indie music rawks my undies, indeed!
